25 Sep AC&M welcomes three great additions to its team
We love bringing in fresh, new faces to help our agency grow! That’s why we are excited to welcome our new team of interns for the fall semester. They will all be involved in different yet exciting projects that will help them gain great career insight while at AC&M. Let’s meet the latest additions to the team!
KARLA CRUZ
Karla joins us as a recent Communication Studies graduate from UNCC, but also spent a year in Mexico studying at the Universidad Iberoamericana. During her time at AC&M, Karla will be working alongside Thalia on several accounts including Sherwin-Williams.
Karla will be expanding her knowledge of social media marketing through her internship, but already has experience writing both in English and in Spanish. She also has a great understanding and passion for the Hispanic culture and its people. While she is excited to learn more about the world of marketing, Karla’s true passion is journalism, and she hopes to later pursue a career in news production.
LUCAS MARTINS
Lucas, originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, attended Queens University where he majored in Communication, with minors in Business and Marketing. As our marketing research intern, Lucas will be assisting the research department by providing important information about current market situations.
Lucas will be helping us with regular research projects to help AC&M and our clients navigate Hispanic, Social, and Soccer markets. He has ambitious career plans to use the knowledge gained at AC&M to help him achieve his goal of becoming a Marketing Research Coordinator.
RICKY VELEZ
A New Jersey native, Ricky rolled down south to attend UNCC, where he graduated with a B.S. in Marketing and International Business. Ricky will be joining us as support to our PR efforts, alongside Brian Cockman, to help this budding department grow into an even more integral part of AC&M.
Ricky comes to us with multicultural marketing prowess. His capstone project involved work with Chiquita Brands, and he also studied abroad in Costa Rica, working to build a global peer network while volunteering with international students. He hopes to learn about real-world marketing practices from the different departments at AC&M, as he continues to grow his career in the world of marketing.
