Copa America and EURO 2016 marketing

Why Copa America Centenario and EURO 2016 are Huge Marketing Opportunities

Summer of Soccer or as I like to call it #SOS16, will make for an unforgettable summer for soccer fans. But for marketers, Copa America Centenario and UEFA EURO 2016 will create endless opportunities for engagement through TV, social and grassroots efforts along with an around the clock conversation about soccer.

Now you may be thinking, wasn’t Copa America just last year? You would be right, but this is not just any Copa America. CONMEBOL and CONCACAF decided to partner up for this one-of-a-kind event to celebrate 100 Years of Copa America.

From June 3rd – June 26 over 30 games will be played right here on U.S. soil in cities such as, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, San Francisco and more.

There is no doubt that fans will gear up to watch their favorite teams and stars such as Messi, Neymar, James and Chicharito.

At AC&M one of our focuses is undoubtedly soccer. It lives in our DNA. If you are looking for a way to get engaged during this one-of-a-kind event, contact us and see how AC&M can get you in on the action.

But don’t forget, the UEFA European Championship 2016 will be overlapping Copa America Centenario to bring a European World Cup to the field June 10th to July 10th.

Germany, the 2014 World Cup Champions, along with top teams including Italy, England and France, as well as key players like Schweinsteiger, Ronaldo and Rooney who will play in what many call a World Cup without the America’s.

With GREAT teams, QUALITY soccer and COUNTLESS OPPORTUNITIES for engagement this summer is definitely a once-in-a- lifetime event.
