AC&M Group Internship Program

Introducing the AC&M Intern Incubator Program

Last year was a strong year for the internship program here at AC&M, as we had interns across several departments including Account Management, Creative, Market Research, and the newly established Public Relations department. For 2015, we plan to grow the program even further, branding these efforts as the AC&M Intern Incubator Program (IIP). Integral to the program is AC&M’s service in helping international candidates with living expenses, visa paperwork, and a monthly stipend.

Since bringing on our company’s first intern in 2010, who is now the current Art Director, we have built a thriving intern culture that rivals most. What sets AC&M’s IIP apart from others is the high degree of input interns provide on our agency’s accounts. In addition to identifying talent on a local level, we also operate on the international level. We brought on our first international intern in 2011; he is now the Social Media Manager and IIP Manager.

“By providing interns direction, support and encouragement to bring their creative ideas to life, we are enabling the future leaders of the marketing communications industry,” notes our CEO, Jaime Cardenas “We take a fresh, modern approach to building our staff by working with area colleges and online forums to identify and cultivate talent.”

As a leader in the multicultural marketing space, we’re always seeking opportunities to grow our agency by adding young, promising talent. Since the program’s inception, many of our interns have gone on to assume full-time roles beyond those mentioned above. In fact, almost half of AC&M, which has more than doubled since our first intern started, is comprised of former interns, highlighting the success of the IIP in developing cultural marketing leaders.

“Everyone at AC&M is very encouraging and fun,” says Gricel Orellana, once an intern as an account assistant and now a full-time Account Executive. “The work we do gives us insight into multiple areas of the marketing world and is a great way to gain valuable experience. What I’ve learned as an intern at AC&M has helped me grow as a marketing professional.”

AC&M works with colleges and universities in the U.S. and abroad to identify the best and brightest young marketing leaders. To apply for an internship with AC&M, interested students or recent graduates can send their resumes or CVs to info@acmconnect.com to the attention of Ignacio Cassinelli.
