16 Dec Soccer.com Holiday Campaign with Univision is a "Golazo"
Some of you may remember when we shared our Liga MX spot we created for Soccer.com, but that was just the tip of the iceberg for our latest campaign for Soccer.com, in association with Univision Deportes (UDN).
Our AC&M team negotiated a full holiday campaign with the Spanish TV Network that included integrations in programming such as the Top 25 Players segment on UDN.
In addition, we also ran our Liga MX commercial throughout the month, along with an additional holiday spot.
Perhaps one of the most significant integrations was Soccer.com’s banner on the final screen of the Liga MX final, following Club America’s victory.
The results? The match drew a viewership of 1,896,000 adults 18-29, making it the 3rd most watched Liga MX Final in history.
The final stand-off between America and Tigres had 140% more viewers than the most-viewed English Premier League match between Man U v. Arsenal game on November 22, 2014, and also beat out the most recent UEFA Champions League final by 70%.
The first leg of the final on December 11 drew 1,441,000 viewers, making it the most watched soccer match on any network since the 2014 World Cup.
Needless to say, Soccer.com got a TON of exposure through this campaign.
