Serbia wins U-20 World Cup, Copa America runs towards the semifinals and the USWNT progresses in the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Let’s take a look to the soccer world:
Copa America
The group stage ended and eight teams qualified to the quarterfinals stage. Mexico, Ecuador, Jamaica and Venezuela were knocked-out at the end of the third matchweek. QF games started on Wednesday night, with Chile narrowly defeating Uruguay thanks to a goal scored by Mauricio Isla. Edinson Cavani and Jorge Fucile were sent of during the game.

Women’s World Cup
The round of 16 was played, leaving eight teams qualified for the quarterfinals. The USWNT defeated Colombia 2-0, with goals scored by Alex Morgan and Carli Lloyd. They’ll now face China, while Germany versus France is the game everyone is looking forward to watch.

U-20 World Cup
Serbia shocked Brazil by defeating them 2-1, scoring the victory goal during the extra time. This could be the start of a bright generation of Serbian players who could stand out in the next few years. Mali defeated Senegal with a 3-1 score, Adama Traire was the man of the match and the best player of the tournament.
