Talking points
• Is the title race already a foregone conclusion? Chelsea came away from Anfield with three points and look formidable this season. Their only dropped points have been away to the two Manchester clubs.
• The Saints go marching on! Southampton continue their stunning start to the season, despite predictions of a struggle after their summer of upheaval. The Saints have only conceded five goals in 11 games.
• Manchester City’s poor form continues, as they twice had to come from behind to draw with QPR. Sergio Aguero was their saviour with both goals.

• Barcelona surprising left Neymar and Suarez on the bench, but trailing at half time brought them both on. Suarez claimed two assists and Neymar one goal as Barca won late on.
• Real Sociedad have won just two league games this season – against both the Madrid teams! They have also appointed a new manager, form Man United boss David Moyes.
• Real Madrid crushed city rivals Vallecano as Ronaldo broke more records – he became the first Madrid player in La Liga history to score in ten consecutive games.

• Dortmund ended their run of five straight league defeats thanks to an incredible own goal by Monchengladbach, Kramer lobbing his own goalkeeper from over 40 yards out!
• Thomas Muller scored a hattrick in an easy away win for Bayern. The reigning champions are yet to lose and have conceded just three goals.
• Wolfsburg are leading the chase for Bayern and notched a sixth consecutive win against struggling Hamburg.

• Juventus put seven past bottom-placed Parma, with Llorente, Tevez and Morata all helping themselves to braces.
• After missing so much time through injury, Stephan El Shaarawy scored a fantastic opener for Milan, who ultimately had to settle for a draw.
• Inter’s indifferent start continued with a home draw with Verona; after playing much of the second half with 10 men, Inter conceded an 89th minute equaliser.
