While Liverpool F.C. sought redemption in the UCL Final, AC&M Group teamed up with World Soccer Shop to kickoff the Summer of Soccer season.
At the Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden in Astoria, New York, World Soccer Shop kicked off their Summer of Soccer campaign with a Champions League Final Watch Party. As the gate doors opened, hundreds of excited soccer fans flooded into the massive outdoor viewing area to claim a seat before the big game.

Guests who RSVP’d prior to the event received a World Soccer Shop koozie, 1 free drink ticket, a wristband and a Summer of Soccer t-shirt. Additionally, all RSVP’d guests were automatically entered to win some of the newest soccer jerseys in World Soccer Shop’s inventory. On display around the space guests got a up close look at some of the most recent soccer jersey releases, including the 2019/20 Liverpool home jersey, the 2019/20 Manchester United Home Jersey and the USWNT home kit.
Adding colorful commentary throughout the game, the comedic duo of soccer fanatics known as The Cooligans took center stage, interacting with fans and raffling off jerseys to lucky winners. Through their podcast available on iTunes and Spotify, The Cooligans promoted the event and shared on social. The event also saw celebrity promotion on Twitter through former USMNT defender Jimmy Conrad who prompted all New York soccer fans to be sure to stop by.
As early as Mo Salah netted Liverpool’s first goal of the game in the 2nd minute, Bohemian Hall had reached capacity around 1,100 total fans in attendance. With several televisions surrounding the outdoor beer hall, plasma screens above the indoor bar and a projector large enough for a concert in the conference room, all eyes at the watch party had a great view of the Champions League action.
As the game concluded Liverpool fans stuck around to sing a few celebratory songs, clink a few pint glasses and toast the day as their team lifted the coveted trophy.
