21 Jan Meet Joseph Crump, AC&M’s Newest Addition

To be great at soccer marketing, agencies not only need marketers and fans, but also coaches and players who have been part of the experience and understand the game. They bring something extra special because they haven’t only watched the sport, they’ve lived it. It’s not just a job but something that is in their DNA.

That is why we are more than ecstatic to welcome Joseph Crump, who will be joining the soccer marketing team, bringing tons of expertise in the field of youth and college soccer.

Apart from playing at the collegiate level for UNC Greensboro, Crump has been an assistant coach, goalkeeper director and coach for UNC Charlotte. He is currently at the highest level of club soccer as head coach for the Charlotte Soccer Academy U18 team within the US Soccer Development Academy. Coaches like Joe love the game and play it, but most importantly, they provide insight into the youth soccer landscape. They have interacted with kids of all ages who play the game, their parents and the clubs they play at, which gives them a better understanding of the needs and motivations of these key demographics.

In addition to his expertise on the field, Crump holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing, and owns a United States Soccer Federation “A” license. He has spent some time working with the sales team department at Sports Endeavors.

As you can see, Crump has the sports and marketing management, sales and hands-on soccer experience we value when looking for candidates to join our team. Like other members of the team, the know-how Joe will contribute is something rarely found in any soccer agency.
