06 Apr Our History
AC&M was founded in 2004 out of the Wake Forest University Business Incubator by Jaime Cardenas and Alfredo Amparán, who initially built the business plan as a class assignment. That plan would eventually develop into a full blown Cultural Marketing Agency.
The founders got their first shot by working with the likes of Batanga, National Gypsum and Lowes, who benefited from a carefully planned and analytical approach to campaigns. Their no-nonsense and result-driven plans made them very successful for a team that was just getting started in the Marketing World. In 2007, the team brought on a third partner, Pacino Mancillas, to offer his Marketing experience and agency background to the growing agency, back then employing a total of 6 people.
Ever since then, AC&M has continued to deliver excellent results for their clients, expanding into Soccer Marketing and Social Media Marketing, which now compliment Hispanic as the core services offered by the Agency. In 2013, AC&M formed a strategic alliance with the world’s largest soccer retailer and long-term client, Sports Endeavors, which now provides us with unmatched access to soccer consumers and industry relations.
Nowadays, our clients include Soccer.com, Sherwin Williams, Family Dollar, Stanley Black & Decker, National Gypsum, Bimbo, Panini, Volkswagen, Fox Deportes among other top players. We also work or have worked with brands including Pepsi, Adidas, American Airlines, Comex, Cinsa, Warrior and Lowe’s.
