Zachary Moore Business Development and Media Manager

New Kid on the Block: Zach Moore Joins AC&M Team

AC&M Continues to Expand & Grow The Team

Welcome Zach! Everyone at AC&M is thrilled to have our newest team member, Zachary Moore, joining our Business Development and Media Department. He may be new to the team and Charlotte, but he’s definitely not new when it comes to sports, traveling, and marketing.

After studying abroad in Italy (and sleeping overnight at a train station in Milan after the Derby), and graduating from Georgetown University, Zach decided to make the trek from Washington D.C. down to the Queen City and put his marketing skills to work.
I sat down with him to get to know him a little more:

April: It’s been a few weeks since you started. What’s been the biggest surprise so far?

Zach: So far, the biggest surprise has been the speed of work within the agency. As my first job in a marketing agency, it’s been an adjustment and learning process to understand the ebbs and flows to the workload. In my brief time here, I have already gotten to see how the desires and demands of clients can create a bit of a frenzy but it has also been great to see how the team comes together during these times to get projects done.

April: Charlotte is completely new to you. Tell us your first impression. What are you most excited about?

Zach: In the few weeks that I’ve been here, Charlotte has been great. It has a big city feel but the city is a manageable size; hopefully I’ll get to know my way around quickly. It’s a great mix of being an urban city but also allowing people to have personal space — it doesn’t feel too crowded. The people of Charlotte have also been a pleasant surprise. It might sound funny to someone who grew up in North Carolina, but from an outsider’s perspective there really is a noticeable southern hospitality where the people are generally friendlier.

April: What skills do you want to gain from this experience, and what skills do you bring to the table by joining the team?

Zach: I view myself as someone who is organized, structured and a strategic planner, which are all traits I believe can help the business development team. As for the AC&M team as a whole, I am very easy going and a team player, which I think are always good traits in a new hire.
