09 Oct Sherwin-Williams Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month With Lotería
Capitalizing off the widely popular childhood game played in Latin America, AC&M worked with Sherwin-Williams to give a modern twist to Lotería via social media.
Lotería is the Latino version of Bingo where short riddles are used for players to name objects and then are marked on a Lotería card. Drawing from this well-known game, AC&M used Sherwin-Williams colors and numbers to bring the game to life.

AC&M helped to increase engagement from fans on Facebook and followers on Twitter by sharing the object’s riddle as posts. Fans where then asked to guess the name of the object by commenting or retweeting. The color used within the creative is also a clue for the name of the object, for example Coming Up Roses SW 6585 is the color for the card “La Rosa”.
“With the element of nostalgia at the fore of this game, it was important to use something that was culturally relevant and resonated with Latinos from across the U.S. From Buenos Aires to Barranquilla, Latinos play Lotería and is a childhood favorite. This was just one small way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, while involving great color from one of our star clients.” Thalia Rybar, Account Executive.
